Our FINAL end-of-quarter deadline of the election is tonight, team. That means we’ll close the books on our fundraising and the Federal Election Commission will make our fundraising report public for everyone to see.

If our numbers look weak, Republicans and pundits will try to say that progressive grassroots movements like ours are losing momentum. They will attempt to paint the policies we support, like Medicare for All and student debt cancellation, as unpopular. And GOP super PACs and mega-donors may swoop in with more bad-faith attacks to try to undermine our movement.

We can’t let any of that happen if we’re going to re-elect Ilhan and deliver huge wins for progressives up and down the ballot, from local candidates to progressive Attorney General Keith Ellison. But right now, we’re not on track to reach our goal.

We need to head into the general election running on all cylinders, but that takes a lot of resources.

We can power our organizing work and report strong numbers after this deadline — but it will take thousands of grassroots supporters chipping in whatever they can before tonight’s deadline.
