Greens condemned the mini-budget that appeased bankers, polluters and the wealthy. Caroline Lucas spoke about it in parliament and deputy leader Zack Polanski told BBC News it was a budget for the super rich.

The decision to lift the moratorium on fracking was criticised by co-leader Adrian Ramsay in Bright Green. His full statement is here. His comments were also highlighted in the Independent.

Co-leader Carla Denyer appeared on BBC News where she argued that the cheapest form of energy is the energy you don’t use and pushed for more insulation in homes and business premises.

North Yorkshire Green Councillor Andy Brown wrote a feature for the Yorkshire Post on the triple challenges of energy costs, food prices and interest rates confronting people.

Are you ready for action to get more Greens elected? We've rescheduled lots of our action days, and they're now taking place throughout the autumn across the country. There’ll be a warm welcome, training and inspiration to take back to your local party, great social events and the opportunity to get the word out to voters about our amazing Green candidates – ready for the General Election.

There's many different days to get involved with, some of them featuring co-leader Zack Polanski or London Assembly Member Sian Berry. We have two action days in Brighton & Hove, three in Herefordshire and lots more! Where will you join us? Click the links below to find out more 🔽

Baroness Jenny Jones' Clean Air (Human Rights) Bill has gained strong cross-party support in the House of Lords, where it enters the committee stage soon. It is estimated that air pollution kills 40,000 people a year in the UK, and the Bill (also known as Ella's Law) is a hugely important opportunity to clean up the air in our towns and cities, while also helping to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

We need your help to get this bill made into law. Can you mobilise and take action to build support for the Bill? We've created a 'flatpack campaign' that gives you all the resources you need to run stalls in town centres, hold public meetings and get your local council to pass a motion in support of the Bill.

Can you also sign and share the petition so we can raise awareness before the Bill reaches its next stage? You can sign here 🌎
