Congressional Republicans recently released their so-called “plan for governing,” titled the “Commitment to America” plan. That’s right – Republicans are already lining up their legislative agenda for if they take back the U.S. House.

The Republican plan contains a lot of head-turning proposals. But the most objectionable part of this ridiculous affront to American values is the section indicating they would increase prescription drug prices for seniors on Medicare.

These are the sorts of extreme policy positions we’ve been warning about. Now, more than ever, it’s essential that we reach our September fundraising goal so that Democrats will have the best chance of defeating Republicans in November. Can we count on you to chip in and help us reach our goal?
