Hello Colorado Republicans -

On Wednesday night, Heidi Ganahl faced off with Jared Polis in their first televised gubernatorial debate ([link removed]) . She presented her strong plan to solve Colorado's problems (which have been created by Polis and his Democrat buddies), and demonstrated that she is the advocate working families need in the Governor's office.

Meanwhile, Michael Bennet was too scared to show up for his debate against Joe O'Dea. In a solo appearance, ([link removed]) O'Dea held Bennet accountable for supporting Biden's reckless spending and voting to hire 87,000 new IRS agents instead of cops.

This weekend, our candidates will be out walking doors alongside volunteers. I'll be joining Attorney General candidate John Kellner, Congressman Ken Buck, Representative Kurt Huffman, and others in Highlands Ranch -- where we need to turn out large numbers of Republican voters. I hope you will be able to join one of our weekend walks as well. Our teams are walking all across the state!

If you live in Greeley, you can also stop by the drive-in signing event for the Recall Priola effort. Go to the Golden Corral parking lot at 3035 23rd Avenue anytime between 9am-3pm, and bring your friends, too!

In the near future, the State GOP will be putting out our recommendations for voting on ballot initiatives. I'll be sure to let you know when the link is live on our website so you can share.

Thanks for all you do!

** Colorado GOP chairwoman: 'Liberal policies are hurting families across Colorado'
------------------------------------------------------------
Denver City Wire: ([link removed]) Kristi Burton Brown, the chairwoman of the Colorado GOP, said high cost of living, high inflation and liberal policies are contributing to the homelessness crisis in Colorado.

Colorado's homeless population grew by more than any other state between 2007 and 2021, increasing by 266% during that time, Axios Denver ([link removed]) reported, citing data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“Homelessness in Colorado is at crisis levels,” Burton Brown, chairwoman of Colorado GOP, tweeted ([link removed]) . “One factor is our high cost of living and a 15.6% inflation rate that’s the highest in the nation. Liberal policies are hurting families across Colorado and making the crisis worse.”

Colorado's cost of living is higher than the national average at 105.3 compared to the national average of 100, according to World Population Review. ([link removed])
