While I may have played a fictional president on TV, I’ve spent my life
outside of acting devoted to political activism. That’s why I’m reaching
out to you now -- because frankly, I’m concerned about what’s at stake
in the fight for the Senate.

Democrats hold a 50-50 Senate majority, so if Republicans win even one
seat, they could flip the Senate and hand power back to Mitch McConnell.

the Senate has never been more critical. So I’m personally asking, will
you join me in protecting and expanding our Democratic majority by
chipping in $5 to the DSCC today?

In one of the most important midterm elections of our lifetimes, we
can’t leave anything to chance. Everything from voting rights and
climate action to commonsense gun reform and more is on the ballot in
just a few weeks.

But Senate Democrats just told me they’re short of their crucial
$250,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal. This is the LAST quarterly
deadline before the election, making it the most important one of the
entire cycle. Meanwhile, the first early votes are already being cast.
This is getting real: The election is here.

If Democrats don’t reach this goal, then history-making Democratic
senators like Raphael Warnock and Catherine Cortez Masto will have
nothing to fight back with as they get pummeled by millions of dollars
in attack ads. Promising Democratic candidates like Val Demings and
Mandela Barnes won't get the support they need to break through.

And then? Republicans will flip
the Senate to undo all the progress President Biden and Senate Democrats
have made in the last two years. They'll stop all the change you and I
are still fighting for -- for years to come.
