Leora Levy Applauds CT Law Enforcement for Fentanyl Bust as Blumenthal Refuses to Secure Border
GREENWICH, CT - Yesterday, a state police officer and police K9 located a wanted man who was found with thirty bags of fentanyl. This discovery comes at a time when fentanyl is the leading cause of death among adults between the ages of eighteen and forty-five.
Championing dedicated law enforcement officers and denouncing Biden and Blumenthal’s open border policies that are fueling our nation’s fentanyl epidemic, U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy issued a statement.
“Thanks to the hard work and dedication of CT law enforcement, a dangerous criminal and deadly drugs are now off the streets. Fentanyl is a scourge killing a generation of Americans, yet Blumenthal continues to rubber stamp Biden’s open border policies that allow fentanyl to flood into our nation. Thanks to their failed leadership, every state is a border state in Biden and Blumenthal’s America.
“Connecticut residents are tired of a do-nothing career politician who turns a blind eye to one of the biggest crises facing our nation. I have received support from the law enforcement community because they know I will be a voice for law and order in Washington and will secure our border. It is time to end this invasion and once again close the border to drugs, traffickers and terrorists.”
