It is a distinct privilege to recognize David Middleton, Poet in Residence Emeritus at Nicholls State University, as our seventh annual Erasmus Lecture poet. Middleton has served as poetry editor for The Classical Outlook, Modern Age, and Anglican Theological Review. His books of verse include The Burning Fields and Beyond the Chandeleurs.
