Hi there —

I wanted to make sure you saw Molly’s message from Wednesday. With the election fast approaching and the state legislature back in session, the time is now to ensure we can step up to the plate and win the key fights to protect Pennsylvania’s environment.

The clock is ticking- we can't afford to sit back and let big polluters control the agenda at any level of government. That's why this year we made dozens of key endorsements, educated thousands of Pennsylvanians on issues crucial to our health and safety, and worked with our allies in Harrisburg and Washington to pass historic investments in climate change and conservation.

Our fiscal year ends TODAY and we can’t continue this work without your help.

Hi there —

With the increase in extreme weather and storms like Hurricane Ian, each day it becomes more apparent that the impacts of climate change are an urgent threat.

The increasing number of historical weather catastrophes is no coincidence. As the planet warms at an alarming rate, we are exhausting every measure to combat climate change and ensure our children and grandchildren have a future. From passing the biggest federal investments in clean energy and infrastructure EVER, to fighting back against pro-polluter bills in Harrisburg, we know that the fight against climate change starts here in Pennsylvania.

And we can’t fight this alone. Can you join us in this fight by renewing your membership with a gift of $5 or more before the end of our fiscal year this week? [link removed]

We work every day to ensure our legislators -- both in Harrisburg and at the federal level -- put people over polluters. Our Field Team's work in local communities across the state builds the people-power we need to fight back against big polluters and their allies. And our Policy and Lobbying team who are on the ground in Harrisburg, pushing our legislators to put public health over polluters' bottom lines.

And with the ticking environmental clock, we have no plans to slow down. We don’t have a moment to spare in the fight against climate change. This is truly the fight of our lives.

Really, it’s members like you who allow us to do this important work. Renew your membership today to continue to stand with us and show our legislators that Pennsylvanians care about the future of our commonwealth!

We have some big fights coming up. The state legislature continues to attack our very democratic systems, attempting to take away our voting rights and disenfranchise low-income and voters of color. Emerging environmental threats like hydrogen production are looming on the horizon. And this November’s elections for the state legislature, U.S. Senate, and Governor will have far-reaching effects on what we are able to accomplish in coming years.

As our fiscal year comes to a close this Friday, we’re asking our members to dig deep and ensure that we can continue our momentum through the upcoming election and long after. Can you chip in TODAY? DONATE NOW: [link removed]

Thanks for all that you do.
