These days are some of my least favorite days of the job, Team.

Today is an FEC fundraising deadline, which means I have to come to you to ask for money. It’s my least favorite part of my job, but my team says that these deadlines are critical to our campaign’s success in the district.

Team Dingell is working hard to reach voters in the new MI-06 District — not only to help me win reelection but to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ballot. The truth is, some of the most competitive state house and state senate races in the state are in MI-06, which means getting Democrats to vote is critical.

Voting started yesterday in Michigan, so every day we spend connecting with voters makes a huge impact on the future of our state. It’s not just me who needs your support ahead of this deadline, it’s all Michigan Democrats.

I also can’t forget that former president Donald Trump will be in Michigan tomorrow to host a rally with MAGA Republicans. One of his biggest supporters is challenging my seat in Congress, and so many other Trump supporters will be on the ballot.

So here is my least favorite question to ask you: Will you stand with me today by making a contribution before our FEC deadline tonight at 11:59? Your contribution will help us continue reaching Democrats in MI-06 so we can make sure they vote in this critical election. [[link removed]]

This election is critical but also extra challenging because Michigan Democrats like me are running in newly drawn districts. There are going to be voters who have never seen my name on the ballot before, but I’m dedicated to reaching voters in MI-06 and making sure we turn out voters.

We have to work together now. We have a lot of work ahead of us, and right now, there is so much on the line.
