Dear Texas Travel Industry Stakeholders, Small Businesses & Economic Development Partners:

Starting October 1, 2022, the application window for the *Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program [ [link removed] ]* (TTIR) will open for businesses in Traveler Accommodation, specifically Hotels & Motels and Bed & Breakfast (NAICS 7211). The application window for this category will run through October 22, 2022.

The TTIR Program, launched in July, was established to provide one-time reimbursement grants of up to $20,000 for the recovery of Texas businesses in the tourism, travel and hospitality industries that were negatively impacted due to COVID-19. These one-time grants are to reimburse eligible costs to qualifying businesses.

Due to the size of the industry and the high number of potential applicants, applications are being accepted in phases by industry sector identified by NAICS code. The chart below outlines the application windows for each industry category.
