It’s no coincidence that every single Groundwork Partner state is also a state where an abortion ban has been signed into law. The GOP have meticulously stacked the decks in these states (the ones I call the true battlegrounds) for generations and it’s long past time to fight back.

As we visit our grantees and organizers in our partner states, it becomes more apparent that for every harmful GOP policy passed in a “deep-red” state, there’s a community organizer or organization there fighting back.

I founded Groundwork Project to help these folks who are on the ground in places long-overlooked and under-resourced by the political establishment. Now, less than a year after we announced our first grants, we’re already seeing the impact.
