I wanted to check in first thing this morning ahead of our last end-of-quarter deadline of the election tonight.

I just ran a report, and it’s clear this is going to come down to the wire. To reach our budget target, we still need to raise $27,541 by 11:59 pm.

On Wednesday, we learned that Scott Jensen and Matt Birk outraised us during the last public reporting period for the first time ever. 

I won’t lie to you. That makes me very nervous. Election analysts have already downgraded our chances of winning three straight times, and the latest public polling showed Scott Jensen and Governor Walz in a statistical tie. 

John, and that was before Republicans spent $1 million in attack ads against us this month. Here’s the bottom line: This is going to be an incredibly close race, and we can’t execute our Get Out The Vote plans unless we dig deep and reach our budget target tonight.

Minnesotans are already voting. There’s no time to waste. Please rush a donation of $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you by midnight to help close the gap and win this race!
