John,

Violence is the abortion industry's tool.

So, it's not surprising that abortion activists have vandalized and even firebombed dozens of pregnancy centers, churches, and other pro-life organizations since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade...

...but it is shocking that the federal government hasn't shown any interest in preventing or prosecuting the rampant pro-abortion terrorism.

Last week, an elderly woman distributing pro-life literature was shot in the back. The county prosecutor isn't sure whether he will file charges.

And 40 Days for Life participants in Philadelphia waited at least 30-40 minutes for law enforcement to respond when an abortion supporter used a six-inch blade to cut up their signs.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration sent a heavily armed contingent of FBI personnel to raid and arrest Philadelphia 40 Days for Life participant Mark Houck for defending his son from a vulgar pro-abortion agitator last year--in a case that had already been dismissed.

But in cities where law enforcement won't protect 40 Days for Life participants, we will.

40 Days for Life is paying for professional security officers hired by the Philadelphia campaign because the mission of protecting moms and babies from abortion is too important to be bullied off the streets.

Philly can be a tough town, but the city's two 40 Days for Life campaigns save numerous babies each campaign. We'll continue to have their backs so they can continue to defend life safely, effectively, and lawfully.

Florida

Many 40 Days for Life campaigns across Florida have been delayed due to Hurricane Ian.

As the storm continues to batter the Southeastern United States, please continue to keep all impacted by the devastation in prayer!

Cleveland, Ohio

The Cleveland, Bedford Heights, and Painesville 40 Days for Life campaigns joined forces to host a combined kickoff rally that drew 135 attendees.

Pro-lifers celebrated a saved baby at the Cleveland 40 Days for Life 365 vigil last week. (The Cleveland vigil opens with a saved baby, seemingly, every campaign!) The spared child marks number 280 all-time in Cleveland!

Former Toledo campaign leader Peter Range now leads Ohio Right to Life and provided the evening's keynote address.

"We served pizza and sang praise and worship songs," shared longtime Cleveland leader John. "An extremely blessed event to kick off."

Council Bluffs, Iowa

Thomas More Society attorney Martin Cannon, who legally represents numerous 40 Days for Life campaign leaders and participants, headlined the Council Bluffs rally.

Catherine, the local leader, described him as "an amazing and inspiring speaker" and noted that the ecumenical event included Lutheran and Catholic clergy.

"We cannot do this alone!" Catherine added. "We are ready, so please keep us in your prayers that people turn up to pray!"

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

--Matthew 6:25-26

Loving heavenly Father, help us to see the worth of all human beings by the way in which you provide for us. We would ask that you provide also the faith, grace, and courage to enable us to protect that which is so precious to you.
