PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE FOR THIS EVENT

We are very pleased to announce that Irish born Dr Dermot Kearney will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Pro Life Campaign National Conference which takes place in the RDS Concert Hall on Saturday 12th November from 12-3.30pm.

Dr Kearney, who has saved a great many unborn babies from the brink of abortion, will talk about his work assisting mothers to reverse the effects of the first abortion pill, his recent vindication by the UK’s General Medical Council following a series of complaints made against him by pro-abortion campaigners, and his plans for the future to make the treatment known as Abortion Pill Reversal much more widely available.

Abortion Pill Reversal involves prescribing the hormone progesterone to women. It has been shown to dramatically increase the chances of the baby surviving the effects of the first abortion pill. During a medical abortion, two pills are taken separately to induce the abortion.

Several mothers who Dr Kearney helped reverse the effects of the first abortion pill they had taken have come forward in recent months to publicly express their gratitude to him for saving the lives of their babies and for his bravery in not cowering to the vicious attacks against him from pro-abortion commentators.

To hear Dr Kearney talk about Abortion Pill Reversal and the plans for the future to make the life-saving treatment more widely accessible, register here ([link removed]) to attend the PLC’s National Conference 2022. Seating is limited so be sure to register today to avoid disappointment!

More information, including about other guest speakers, will be available in the coming days.
Beautiful heartwarming moment at Australian premiership football final ()

In a very touching act, Joel Selwood, Captain of Australia's Geelong Cats, lifted the team’s long standing water boy Sammy Moorfoot over the barrier to share in their AFL landslide premiership win on Saturday, after spotting him in the crowd. It drew rapturous cheers from the team supporters as Sammy made his way onto the pitch and donned one of the medals belonging to the victorious team. Fair play to the Geelong Cats skipper for his sincere and kindhearted gesture!

Irish footballers Mark O'Connor from Kerry and Zach Tuohy from Laois both played on the winning Geelong Cats team in Saturday’s Grand Final.

Pro Life Campaign Submission to Budget 2023 ()
[link removed]

While Budget 2023 includes some welcome provisions like the doubling of Child Benefit rates in November, it does nothing that would assist in any way in reducing Ireland’s soaring abortion rate.

The Pro Life Campaign’s Pre Budget Submission advocates for a range of pro-life and pro-child policies which would prioritise support for struggling families. It calls on the Government to consider a range of initiatives, including state-backed loans for families with children; the payment of child benefit payments shortly before birth, and new childcare initiatives which allow a parent to stay at home and remain financially viable.

Invitation to Ceiliúradh Cois Life Annual fundraising dinner for pro-life education with guest speaker Professor William Binchy ()
After a two year break, the sixth annual Ceiliúradh Cois Life dinner for pro-life education (co-hosted with Senator Rónán Mullen) will take place in the RDS Concert Hall, Merrion Road, Dublin 4 on Friday, 7th October at 7pm.

Our guest speaker this year is Professor Emeritus William Binchy of Trinity College Dublin. As well as being Regius Professor of Laws in TCD until 2012, William is an author of numerous legal textbooks, a former member of the Irish Human Rights Commission, a practising barrister and one of the leading voices in defence of the right to life of unborn children in Ireland since 1983.

The proceeds of the dinner will ensure the vital education and support work of the Pro Life Campaign can continue — assisting new mothers and those with unplanned pregnancy, and running educational programmes for young people in the pro-life movement on college campuses and through the Future Leaders Programme.

Due to an increase in costs (beyond our control), the price of a table of ten this year is €1,500. Individual tickets are €150 each. If you would like to join us on the evening, please email (mailto:[email protected]?subject=PLC%20Annual%20Dinner) to book a table or individual ticket.
Send INSTANT ready-to-go message to your TDs asking them to urge Stephen Donnelly to immediately STOP telemedicine abortion ()
[link removed]
The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly is expected to make a decision very soon on whether to end or sanction the continuation of telemedicine home abortions.

In a very distrubing new finding, 15% of women in the UK said they experienced pressure to go though with an abortion they didn't want to have.*

The HSE in Ireland recently acknowledged** that coercion is MORE likely to occur when abortions happen remotely.

Telemedicine abortion is anti-woman as well as anti-baby.

Take one minute to send an INSTANT message to your TDs asking them to urge the Minister for Health to immediately STOP telemedicine abortion now that Covid 19 measures have been eased in every other area.

You can send an instant message here ([link removed])

*The findings are contained in research conducted for BBC Radio 4
**In an answer to a Parliamentary Question from Carol Nolan TD on 3rd March 2022
