Dear John,

How did they get elected?

This is a bigger newsletter than usual (it's worth the read, I promise) and it'll leave you wondering, "How did they get elected"...

That's what I was left thinking after reading the Greens "Rent Freeze" article anyway.

While we are trying to block the Green's crippling policies, they continue to attack common sense and critical thinking with their trademarked "you're racist" rebutle. Pauline continues to call out their anti-Australian behaviour, which seems to be a common occurrence of late (you can read our full articles below).

Let's move on from the Greens and talk about going digital. With Optus being hacked, Pauline warns of digital property deeds and the potential for a homeowner being unable to prove ownership if a malicious digital attack occurred.

How are we supposed to feel safe paying off a mortgage when a hack could leave us unable to prove ownership of our home?

While many minor parties were warning of digital security leading up to the election, a key issue every party talked about pre-election was a federal ICAC (anti-corruption commission). One Nation is reminding Labor of their promise and won't let this issue be swept under the rug. I don't know about you but we can't let corrupt politicians decide when the corruption commission will come into effect... (I'm not that trustworthy, which is why I voted for Pauline).

Speaking of questionable Australian politicians, the major parties have blown yet another chance for Australians to get a fair return on our sovereignly-owned natural resources. We keep fighting for taxpayers not to get ripped off, and I think this article is a must-read if you care about remaining a 'rich' country.

To wrap up a massive week of news, One Nation's Sarah Game kicks off her political career by going in to fight for her constituents. Fairer family law is a key One Nation policy and Sarah Game is becoming the leading force for reform in South Australia.

That's my update for this week. I look forward to hearing your feedback on our news this week and hope you have a great weekend!

(P.S Don't forget to watch the NRL grand final this Sunday!)

Kind Regards,

Peter Brady
