Karen Abrams, here. I’m dropping in for a quick email during this holiday season to tell you why I give to States United.

I am a board member of States United to Prevent Gun Violence, but that’s not why I give. My mother took her own life by gun when I was a teenager, and I don’t want anyone else to ever go through what I went through. But even that’s not why I give.
