John, we have some concerning news to share.
We have less than 36 hours to go until our first mandatory FEC end-of-quarter deadline of the year, and our fundraising has slowed to a near-halt. We still need to raise another $13,000 before the end of the day tomorrow.
This is not the news we expected to share after such a strong start to the week, and to be honest, we can't afford this kind of slowdown. Pramila’s fight for a wealth tax, Medicare for All, a $15 minimum wage, and humane immigration reform are gaining real momentum. But it's going to be incredibly difficult to sustain the critical progress we've built so far if we don't pick up the pace toward the $13,000 we need to raise by midnight tomorrow.
Our movement is powered by people — not corporate PACs — giving what they can, not only because of the transformative change we are fighting for with Pramila but also because of the future we want to build in our communities.
We can pass a bold infrastructure, jobs, and families plan, guarantee health care as a human right in this country, and so much more — but only if we back Pramila up in the fights ahead.
