"We have the brain. We have the mind. We're smart, we're strong, and we can do anything. We learned that at Freedom Schools. We can do it if we put our mind to it!"
- Camren, CDF Freedom Schools® scholar, age 7

As we celebrate this holiday season, we're full of hope. The year ahead presents an opportunity for this country to truly invest in our children--a chance for us to fight for all children to have the same opportunities to succeed that we want for our own children. And we believe that together, we can achieve that vision.

As you sit around your holiday table with friends and loved ones, we want you to know that we are committed to making 2020 a brighter year for children, and we're so grateful to have you in this fight alongside us.

As Camren said, "We're smart, we're strong, and we can do anything!"

Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday season and new year full of hope.

Best wishes,

The Children's Defense Fund family
