Congressman Pat Fallon Leads Letter on Student Loan Cancellation’s Impact on Military Recruitment - “Military recruitment is hard enough. With  Biden’s recent announcement to cancel up to $20,000 in student loan debt, I fear what may come next. The Armed Services have often used educational benefits as a top incentive in the recruitment process, and now that is gone."

America’s Immigration Crisis Has a Bipartisan Solution - Senator John Cornyn calls on lawmakers to pass the Bipartisan Border Solutions Act that he cosponsored with Representatives Tony Gonzales and Henry Cuellar and Senator Kyrsten Sinema in 2021. "Our bipartisan bill requires the hiring of hundreds of immigration judge teams, asylum officers, litigation teams, and other staff...This bill will ensure those with legitimate claims can be granted asylum without lengthy delays, while also disincentivizing individuals with weak or fabricated asylum claims from attempting the dangerous journey to the border at all."

Sen. Cruz Adds Safeguards to Protect Free Speech in Journalism Antitrust Bill - The deal effectively places negotiations on how to censor or suppress content outside the scope of the bill, thereby preventing news organizations from colluding with tech companies to suppress or censor conservative voices. The inclusion of language that prohibits online censorship by Big Tech is a landmark accomplishment, and will provide the model for future bills that will safeguard free speech online.
