September is National Recovery Month, an occasion where we can acknowledge the millions of Americans who have recovered from addiction or substance use.?During this episode,?Doreen Schenkenberger describes how she recovered from alcoholism that began at age 13 and now leads a statewide organization that assists others on that same path.?Ms. Schenkenberger is Chief Executive Officer of Partners for Progress in Anchorage, Alaska. Her organization supports people who are addressing addiction throughout the State of Alaska.
