Democrats, 

The GOPs have made it clear - they're proposing to take us back to some of our darker days. House Republicans' rolled out their 'Commitment to America' Platform, and then quickly took it offline. But don't let the failed rollout of their agenda distract you from their extreme plans. Republicans are proposing to: 

X Ban abortion nationwide,

X Repeal key pieces of the Inflation Reduction Act & make health care more expensive,

X Put social security & Medicare on the chopping block,

X Undermine democracy.

Democrats, we can't let this happen! Join CADEM this weekend as we work across the state to ensure that we elect Democratic leaders who will stand up for progressive policies in our state and across the nation. 

When:

Saturday, October 1; 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Sunday, October 2; 12 - 3 p.m.

What: 

Help us call voters in support of Democrats in CD-45: Jay Chen for Congress (CA-45), Kim Carr for State Senate (SD36), and Diedre Nguyen for Assembly (AD70). Help us get out the vote for Democrats up and down the ballot in one of California's most competitive congressional districts.

When: Saturday, October 1; 2 - 4 p.m.

What: Dr. Kermit Jones is running in an open seat that is considered one of the most competitive in the country. It is on the 'Red to Blue' list, which means that a good Democratic candidate can flip this seat. Kermit is that candidate! This seat will help us maintain control of Congress. We use an automatic dialer, which means you do not have to spend time dialing the numbers. Training will be provided, and in no time you will be an expert on the system and on Dr. Kermit!

When: 

Saturday, October 1; 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Sunday, October 2; 12 - 3 p.m.

What: Gather with us as we take action to contact likely supporters and encourage them to cast their ballot for Congressman Mike Levin in his race for re-election, Mayor Catherine Blakespear in her race for State Senate, and Mayor Pro Tem Chris Duncan in his race for State Assembly. Volunteers are invited to gather virtually on Zoom or attend in-person at the Blakespear/Duncan Oceanside Field Office. 

When: 

Sunday, October 2; 3 - 5 p.m.

What: Join CADEM in CD-1 to elect Max Steiner and David Leon Zink! You will be calling Democratic voters and making sure they vote for the candidates endorsed by the Democratic Party. This is democracy in action, and democracy requires participation.

When: 

Saturday, October 1, 2022; 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Sunday, October 2, 2022; 1 - 3 p.m.

What: Join us for a phonebank to mobilize voters in the Central Valley! In order to maintain control of Congress, we need to start organizing in our communities now. We will be hosting a virtual phone bank to call on our neighbors and friends to get involved and support Rudy Salas for Congress!

When: 

Saturday, October 1, 2022; 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

What: Sign up to phone bank for your endorsed Democratic candidates for California State Senate District 36 Kim Carr, and California Assembly District 72 Judie Mancuso! The more we have on at a time, the more successful we are in reaching people. Do it for as long as you'd like, from anywhere, using your device (without the contact seeing your number). Training is quick and easy if needed!
