John,
The right wing of the GOP has been on a warpath to strip us of our reproductive rights and our right to bodily autonomy and privacy. They should be paid attention to. They say what they mean and mean what they say and have been consistent on this for over 3 decades.
They fought for and succeeded in stacking the Supreme Court with conservative, extremist justices who are out of touch with the times. Striking down Roe v. Wade was not their end goal but merely the beginning. They want a national ban on abortions, and now they’ve shown their cards.
Earlier this month, Senator Lindsey Graham, long-time proponent of “states’ rights,” introduced a national abortion ban in the Senate. His ban would preempt state law and prohibit abortion after 15 weeks — a number he says, he “picked.”
If the GOP wins back the Senate and takes control of the House, abortion will become illegal in all 50 states — despite the protections we have here in California and efforts underway to amend our state Constitution.
We can't stand by while out of touch Republicans pass dangerous legislation to appeal to their extremist base. We must stand up for what the overwhelming majority of Americans support — the right to reproductive freedom and privacy. We must win on November 8th.
With less than 2 weeks until ballots start to arrive in mailboxes, it’s never been more important to re-elect leaders who have a track record of championing reproductive freedom and privacy. Can you chip in $10 today to help keep Congress out of the hands of the GOP?

I’ve been a champion of reproductive and human rights my entire career. I’ve always fought for a woman’s right to choose, including efforts to codify Roe v. Wade. But I can’t keep up this fight without support from you, John.
Any amount you can contribute to help with my re-election campaign and to keep control of Congress out of GOP hands would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for standing with me,
Anna
