Hi JOHN, it’s Leigh Rose again, Max’s wife.
I know I just sent you an email not too long ago but something came to my mind this morning and I wanted to share it with you. And after, I’m going to ask you to chip in to Max’s campaign as he has an important end-of-quarter fundraising deadline coming up and he needs your help.
More than ever before, elected officials have a duty to think beyond the immediate impact of policy and towards how their decisions will impact future generations.
Whether it’s climate change, guns, mental health, the economy, affordable education–how our representatives respond to these crises right now will determine the future for our son Miles and every child in this country. I know that so many parents across our district are feeling the same way I am, which is why I wanted to write to you.
What gives me comfort, though, is knowing with 100% certainty that Max will be a representative we can count on to fight for our kids’ and grandkids’ futures.
For two years, I watched my husband work across the aisle to make real change happen and fight tooth and nail for our district, no matter what. It’s become increasingly rare to see that sort of dedication and commitment to one’s constituents. Max has always been a fighter for the people he cares about, and I have no doubt that when he gets back to Congress he’ll continue working tirelessly for each of us.
Max is determined to set aside partisan bickering and party politics, in order to focus on what really matters: making real change and fighting for the America we both know is possible, for today and generations to come. He’s proven this to me as the father of our son Miles and I know he’ll prove it to you, too.
But, Max can’t win this race without your support. I’m doing all I can to help him, which is why I’m asking if you’ll join me by chipping in to help Max reach his crucial end-of-quarter goal and flip this seat blue.
Thank you for reading and supporting my husband Max.
Leigh Rose
