Game and Parks announces stocking schedule for rainbow trout
It's that time of year: time to stock trout in the fall. Nebraska Game and Parks will release rainbow trout in community waters statewide to enhance fishing opportunities this fall and winter.
The stocking of trout began the week of Sept. 26 and will continue weekly through October. Find the tentative schedule online.?

New collars boost bighorn sheep monitoring efforts
Nebraska Game and Parks is better able to monitor the health, movements and distribution of bighorn sheep in the Wildcat Hills thanks to a project completed this month. With the help of a helicopter capture crew, Game and Parks placed tracking collars on 27 sheep.
