** It’s Time to Take Action
------------------------------------------------------------

Natural disasters are powerful reminders of just how easily all can be lost. Our thoughts are with the victims of Hurricane Ian at this time, and we are watching closely as the storm continues to threaten the East Coast.

Our team members in Florida are all safe and sound, and we encourage you to support disaster relief efforts ([link removed]) at this time.

C. is just one of the many people impacted by natural disaster who was forced to live without an ID. His important documents were all lost during Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and he’d been struggling with homelessness and addiction since that time. He needed an ID to get back on his feet, and we were thrilled to be able to help him.

Unfortunately, C. is not alone. So many of America’s most vulnerable have no way to get the documents that they need to access food pantries, emergency shelters and government benefits when disaster strikes.

As the communities impacted embark on their road to recovery, we are dedicated to helping those who have lost their IDs and important documents so that they are fully eligible for any and all of the services that will be available to them.
