According to Politico’s 2022 House forecast, our Republican-held district is a TOSS-UP and one of only a handful across the country that will determine House control. The rating is in large part credited to the fact that Michelle Steel is facing “stiff competition” from Democrat Jay Chen.
Republicans know they’re in trouble. That’s why special interests and super PACs, like Kevin McCarthy’s Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), have committed millions of dollars to prop up Steel and attack Jay with misleading fear-mongering ads.
