Team,
It’s Raquel, chair of the AZ Dems, and Arizona State Senator. This is a very busy time for me, but I knew I had to take a moment to reach out to you personally.
This may seem cliché, but this is a very important year for Arizona. As someone who has spent years working to make our state a better place, I’m really excited – and anxious – about this year’s elections.
We’re on the cusp of experiencing a breakthrough we’ve worked years for. We have amazing candidates who want to make a difference and make Arizona a better place for everyone.
And then I think about who the AZ GOP has on the ballot. I think about how every one of them is working to take away our voting rights, our democracy, our choices over our bodies, and on and on.
I get excited, because I know we can win.
I get anxious because I think about just how hard it will be if we come up short.
Every race is going to be close and every dollar is going to matter. My staff tells me we’re still a few thousand dollars short of our end-of-quarter goal. I know this grassroots team has stepped up every single time I’ve asked. So I’m asking again.
Team, help me hit our EOQ goal, so I can feel excited about flipping Arizona completely blue this November.
