In 2019, EPPC’s world-class scholars reached newer and wider audiences, as they continued our work of defending America’s founding ideals.

Henry Olsen’s new online daily column for the Washington Post offers a trenchant conservative take on the news, and Henry has further established himself as a go-to analyst in the lead-up to the 2020 election. Lance Morrow’s frequent essays in the Wall Street Journal—some two dozen over the last year or so—offer provocative insights on journalism, social media, and politics. Mona Charen’s nationally syndicated column features her insights on politics, economics, and culture. And in his columns and essays for the New York Times and The Atlantic, Peter Wehner seeks to restore and revitalize the idea of governing as a serious craft.

In their writing, and in frequent radio and television appearances, these and other EPPC scholars articulate the best of the Judeo-Christian moral tradition on some of the most complex issues of the day.

And under the direction of Josh Good, EPPC’s Faith Angle Forum brings leading journalists together with top scholars and clerics for invaluable conversations about religion and public life. This year, Faith Angle launched a podcast, hosted its first-annual forum in Europe and its second-annual Michael Cromartie Forum for young journalists, and continued its longstanding gatherings for U.S. journalists.
