The Sacramento Bee is one of the most liberal newspapers in the country.
It takes a special kind of dishonesty for a liberal Democrat to fail one
of their fact checks.
But our opponent, Kermit Jones, has accomplished this feat. The Bee just
published a fact check finding that Kermit is blatantly lying in his TV
attack ads. And he's spending an astounding $305,000 per week on those
lies.
The last two days we've had an amazing response from supporters. As a
result, we've been able to start airing our own TV ads getting out the
truth. But the end-of-quarter deadline is now just a day away, and we
are still a ways from where we need to be.

Kermit also just sent an email to his liberal East Coast donors laying
out his plan. He's trying to convince Pelosi he has a chance to win so
that she'll funnel him even more money - and the only way he can do
that is to run as many negative ads as possible over the next several
days.
That means that if we don't reach our fundraising goal tomorrow - if
we aren't sufficiently armored against the attacks - we could soon
be facing
**several million dollars** in weekly negative ads rather than several
hundred thousand.
