A note from from Mayor Brian Turnbull...
** NORTHVILLIANS,
------------------------------------------------------------
I want to highlight two great weekend events for you to enjoy the natural autumnal beauty of our area while supporting local charities. Hines Drive is one of the most scenic pathways in southeast Michigan and you can choose to bike or walk it this weekend for a good cause.
On Saturday, October 1st, the 9th annual Tour de Ville Benefit Bike Ride ([link removed]) will cruise along Hines Drive. The Rotary Club of Northville sponsors the event to raise funds for Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, Kids Against Hunger, local scholarships, student exchange programs, Little Free Libraries, and local food banks. See the link for details and to register (discounted fee until midnight tonight!) or to donate. LINK ([link removed])
On Sunday, October 2 the Novi/Northville CROP Hunger Walk ([link removed]) will take place in beautiful Hines Park. The Walk raises funds to help transform communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster. 25% of what is raised on Sunday will be used to support local causes. To learn more, register, or donate, please see this LINK ([link removed]) .
I appreciate the generosity our community continues to show by participating in events like these.
Keep that Northville Faith!
Brian Turnbull
