Hello, Derek Kilmer here — Representative for Washington's 6th District.
I was proud to represent the 26th Legislative District for eight years before serving in Congress. I’ve spoken to folks on their porches, visited schools and employers, and learned about the needs of our region. And here’s what I know. I know Emily Randall is the best choice to represent us. She's a community organizer, a healthcare and education advocate, and she believes in building a strong economy that works for all of us — not just those at the top. She’s a champion for women’s reproductive freedom and she’s been an awesome partner to me on a whole bunch of issues affecting our community. Emily is running for re-election because she knows there's more work to do. And like me, she believes in setting aside partisan politics and coming together to put the people first.
But listen, the far-right is well-organized and fighting to beat her and flip the majority in Olympia. With only weeks to go until voting starts, Emily's facing a tough end-of-month deadline this Friday at midnight. What she raises before then will go directly to helping her win this race.
