Dear John,
As we celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years, and many other festivities this week and next, I wanted to take a moment to reflect.
I’ll be frank — It’s been a difficult year. Our government is in disarray, the presidential administration is fully corrupt, and the world is being ravaged by the effects of global warming. It’s hard to remember the spirit of the holidays, of giving, helping others, and doing what’s right. But at the same time I’m reminded that the next generation is already stepping up as leaders in the gun violence and climate change prevention movements, and I truly believe we have hope for a brighter future.
I hope that as we all gather with friends and family, or spend time on our own in reflection, that we take a little more time to consider how we can all take a larger role in shaping our future.
I hope you have a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and wonderful holidays.
Thank you for supporting this campaign and this vision for hope in the new year.
All my best,
Lindsey
