John,
As the year draws to a close, many Americans are looking forward to time with friends and family. The season is a welcome respite It's a chance to look back on the last 12 months, and forward to the year to come.
As a nation, the holidays are a collective opportunity to reflect and celebrate. No matter the ups and downs of the last year, and no matter our differences, this is a time for us all to come together as families, communities, and as Americans, to lift each other up. We need that kind of camaraderie and community now more than ever.
Across every divide, there is far more uniting us as a people, than should ever keep us apart. It’s up to us to recognize those common threads, and to honor our shared wish for a prosperous, free, and just future. No matter our personal beliefs, that hope for ourselves and our neighbors is a bond that is stronger than fear or bigotry. It’s stronger than politics, if we just take the time to recognize it.
So, we’re wishing you a merry Christmas, a happy Hanukkah, a joyous Kwanzaa, or just a relaxing time with friends or family. No matter what you believe, take time this holiday season to celebrate all the blessings in your life. And as you do, spare a thought for the blessings of liberty and democracy we enjoy in America.
When the holidays are over, and we step forward into an uncertain 2020, keep the memory of those blessings burning. Because the fight for liberty, equality, and truth is one that never stops. By keeping alive that hope for justice and liberty for all, we carry onwards the American dream.
That’s our holiday wish, here at Stand Up Republic; for each and every one of us to stride confidently into the new year, with passion and hope for our future. We will keep you all in our thoughts as we celebrate with our loved ones as well, and we look forward to working together with renewed strength of spirit.
From all of us at Stand Up Republic, good tidings and happy holidays.
