Blumenthal-Biden Economy Leaves CT Residents in the Cold This Winter
GREENWICH, CT - With winter coming and energy prices rising, many Connecticut residents are wondering how they are going to afford the highest monthly electricity costs in the nation. According to the latest inflation reports, electricity prices have skyrocketed 15.8% in the last year with Connecticut residents paying on average $611 a month for energy bills.
Calling out Blumenthal for championing the Biden Administration’s foolish radical climate agenda that included tax increases on middle class families and small businesses, U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy issued the following statement.
“Out of control energy costs are a direct result of Biden and Blumenthal’s failed policies that put special interests before the American people. Connecticut residents are being left out in the cold while the Biden Administration withholds U.S. energy development, forcing consumers to pay ever higher prices. This is a self-inflicted crisis, rubber stamped by Dick Blumenthal.
“With the highest monthly electricity costs in the nation, Connecticut residents are in desperate need of a commonsense leader who supports American energy independence and understands basic supply and demand markets. Blumenthal’s radical Green Dream agenda is crushing Connecticut families’ American Dream. Connecticut cannot afford six more years of Dick Blumenthal.”
