Hi John,

As we close out the year, it is easy for me to look back and be filled with gratitude.

Gratitude for the volunteers who gave up afternoons, evenings, and weekends to knock on doors, make phone calls, or stuff envelopes.

Gratitude for the activists who stood in the cold, traveled to Washington DC, or wrote to the local paper to make their voices heard.

Gratitude for the donors who dug deep and trusted the Maine Democratic Party with their hard-earned money in order to help us open offices, hire organizers, and talk to voters.   

Gratitude for our elected officials who worked tirelessly to move our state forward.

Gratitude for our state, county, and municipal Democratic committees whose work so often goes unrecognized.

2019 has been an incredible year -- and I know that we have a big task ahead of us in 2020. With this team, with this grassroots support, with the overwhelming energy I feel from Democrats around the state, I know that we are going to see a blue wave crash over Maine in November.

Thank you for all that you do and happy holidays to you and yours.
