The report presents data on full-time federal law enforcement officers who were authorized to make arrests, carry firearms, or both. It is the ninth in a series that began in 1993 and it describes the job functions, sex, race, and Hispanic origin of federal law enforcement officers. This report also provides data on the size and composition of federal law enforcement agencies.
