And John: McConnell and Republicans have been a rubber stamp for the Trump agenda -- an agenda that has failed to address the opioid epidemic, has led rural hospital closures and has created a trade war that has hurt Tennessee more than any other state.

There's no doubt the stakes are high -- we need to take back the Senate and oust McConnell from leadership.
