Deeply transforming food, energy and the role of business to create a just and regenerative future

Forum for the Future has announced its new 2023-2025 strategy outlining three pivotal ‘transitions’ that we will focus on in our efforts to create a ‘just and regenerative’ future in which both people and the planet thrive.

Forum will look to enable deep transformation in how we think about, produce, consume and value both food and energy, and in the role of business in society and the economy.

With increased investment and activity, momentum behind these transitions is encouraging—but, given the shallow nature of so many interventions, the world is not yet seeing the results it needs.

Our strategy effectively calls time on ‘solutions’ that might address specific problems in isolated, short-term ways, but that, in the longer-term, fail to maintain momentum and to tackle the root causes of the issues they set out to resolve.

Find out more on our website or in our latest insights: the what, why and how of just and regenerative; deep transformation versus shallow transition; and on the latest trends impacting sustainability in the UK, US and Asia.
