John,

The only things certain in life? Death, taxes, and Paul LePage putting himself before Mainers.

A New York Times report dropped over the weekend showing Paul LePage benefited from Florida tax breaks while living in the Blaine House. What’s more? When he was Governor, LePage tried to eliminate a similar tax break for Mainers. The takeaway is loud and clear: LePage will always put himself first.

We’re approaching our final end-of-quarter filing deadline and we’re only about halfway to our $25,000 goal. It’s all hands on deck to keep Paul LePage out of Maine. Chip in $5 now. [link removed]

If you didn’t have time to read the article this weekend, here’s the TLDR: LePage claimed he was a permanent Florida resident — while serving as governor and living in the Blaine House for free. He got a tax break at the same time he was raising Maine’s property taxes.

When Gov. Mills won in 2018, LePage fled to Florida, taking his Maine tax-payer funded pension with him – the pension he earned while claiming to be a permanent resident of Florida.

This is a disgraceful move from Paul LePage, but is anyone surprised? Paul LePage will do whatever he can to help himself, but Mainers are a second thought. Send LePage back to Florida for good with a donation of $5. [link removed]

Thank you,

Gaetan Davis
