Hii Friend, Happy Latinx Heritage month! 🥳
As a first-gen Chicana-Dominicana, I am celebrating my Latinx heritage by creating poetry and community art about my immigrant culture. 💗 For example, in our Zine ‘Immigrant Made’, I wrote 3 poems about what a world without borders would look like, how special us immigrants are by nature of being immigrants, and how powerful our stories are.

To be able to write and share these poems with you mean the world to me, friend. 🥺 The poems show that we know what’s best for us, by honoring what came before us and drawing inspiration from our ancestors in the fight for immigrant and racial justice.
