Voters in Michigan can cast their ballots in the November Midterm election starting today!
That’s right — starting today, voters can visit their city or township clerk’s office (or satellite office if available) and cast their vote using an absentee ballot. Every eligible voter can vote using an absentee ballot.
If you plan on voting in person before Election Day, November 8th, here are a few useful links to help you:

If you are not registered to vote yet, you can register to vote and cast your absentee ballot in the same visit at your city or township clerk’s office. If you aren’t sure, don’t worry – you can check your voter registration here. [[link removed]]
If you prefer to vote at home, request your absentee ballot as soon as possible.
You can fill out an online application here [[link removed]] or you can download an application here [[link removed]] to print, fill out, and mail back to your clerk’s office. Request your absentee ballot as soon as possible so that you have enough time to receive it, fill it out, and return it!
Voters are already returning their absentee ballots to their clerk’s offices. If you already received your ballot, it’s critical that you fill it out (follow the instructions carefully) and return it as soon as possible to your clerk’s office or to a secure drop box.
