We’re just over one day away from the deadline for our crucial end-of-quarter fundraising goal, so I wanted to reach out with a personal note before time runs out.
Over the course of this campaign, my team and I have let you know about several goals and deadlines. And while they were all important, this is the most important test our team has faced yet.
Election Day is just over one month away now. When our numbers go public shortly after the Friday deadline, dark money and special interest groups will be studying them closely to determine how and where they should be spending their money over these last few weeks to defeat me.
And remember: Outside groups have already spent over $4 million in our district, and they’ve pledged to spend at least $7 million more between now and Election Day.
Right now, the best way to fight back is to help my team put up a strong showing before the quarterly deadline.
