What does legacy mean to you?
Dear Ocean Activist,
Your legacy is powerful. It's your chance to define how you want to be remembered. It's a way to keep fighting for what you believe in, even when you can no longer do it in person. And for one of our late Sentinels of the Sea, Woody, it was a way to keep hope alive.
For Woody, legacy would only ever mean one thing. A passionate surfer and environmentalist, he advocated for the ocean just as he advocated for his patients and friends – with passion, empathy, and respect. And this love for the ocean will live on in his legacy.
Sadly, Woody is no longer with us. But thanks to his legacy, we can continue to fight for the ocean in his name. That's what it means to leave a legacy of hope.
Woody’s love of the ocean is an inspiration to all of us at SAS. So is every single one of our Sentinels of the Sea who have pledged a gift to us in their Will. If Woody's story has inspired you, you too can leave a legacy of hope.
And if you'd like to find out how we can help you write a will for free, or have any questions for us, you can click the button below. You can also reach out to me by replying to this email.
Thank you, Lizzie Cresswell, Giving Officer
