As the Finance Manager for Shontel Brown for Congress, it’s my job to make sure we hit every fundraising goal from now to Election Day.
But with early voting rapidly approaching on October 12, I’m afraid to admit we’re still $2,500 short of our end-of-quarter goal. From passing the Inflation Reduction Act, holding corporations accountable for paying their fair share, and putting more money in the pockets of hard-working Americans to job growth accelerating across all industries, Shontel Brown and her Democratic colleagues are delivering for the people. But to continue our progress, we must hold our Democratic majority in Congress this November.
With the summer fundraising slump and back-to-school season, August and September are some of the hardest months to fundraise in, and we need to ramp up our fundraising to close the gap!
Meeting our end-of-month goal will help ensure we have the resources to turn out voters in critical portions of Ohio. Alongside President Biden and the Democratic Majority in Congress, we can give the people the relief they need, increase access to quality healthcare, and protect the rights of the disenfranchised.
