Countdown to Election Day:
John – if you’re anything like me, you want to donate to candidates who are running in the most pivotal races and who can make the greatest impact when election season rolls around.
The candidate who can flip an entire chamber by winning their race? I want to donate to that candidate! The Democrat standing in the way of total Republican control of a state? I want to donate to that candidate!
Well, guess what: Our NDRC Democracy Defender candidates include candidates in some of the most important elections this cycle – that’s why we chose to endorse them! And if you want to make the MOST impact this fall, there’s no better way than by chipping in toward our end-of-quarter goal so we can help support those candidates and work to save democracy.
Let me break it down. Many of our candidates:
→ Are the last line of defense in otherwise Republican-controlled states (I’m talking about people like Gov. Laura Kelly in Kansas and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan)
→ Can help outright flip state legislative chambers, taking power away from the GOP
→ Conversely, can help protect vulnerable Democratic majorities in competitive states
→ And can even prevent Republicans from winning harmful supermajorities (which would allow them to pass all sorts of noxious policies!)
On top of all that, at a time when MAGA election deniers are winning primary after Republican primary, we can depend on our endorsees for governor, secretary of state, and state auditor to protect free and fair elections.

So John, look. We’re running out of time. The election is in less than 41 days. The time to make an impact – the BIGGEST impact – is NOW.
