Mitch McConnell’s super PAC is outspending us big time. Every day, they pump about $450,000 worth of misleading and false attack ads about Cheri into North Carolina.

Well, we cannot stop them from lying and trying to buy another Senate seat. But we can make sure their plan fails.

Let’s be clear: These attack ads are all paid for by billionaires and corporate special interests whose only stake in this race is making sure they elect a bought-and-paid-for politician. Their goal is to keep our economy and democracy rigged in their favor, and Ted Budd has proven he’s a reliable vote for their interests in Congress.

So there’s no limit to what our opponents will spend in order to win.

The good news is that the data shows we don’t have to match them dollar for dollar. Yesterday’s newest poll showed the race tied at 46%. Our job is to keep it close and make sure they don’t drown out Cheri’s message entirely.

Right now, we don’t have the resources necessary to fight back and win this race. But if we can narrow the gap, then we can shift the polls in our direction and win this seat in November.
