Dear John,

The Lusaka for Jesus Mission was the culmination of a long celebration of AE’s 60th Anniversary. Evangelists know how to celebrate; they do so by bringing more people to Jesus!

This Harambee is an 11 day diary of the Lusaka for Jesus Mission. It is a wonderful insight on what happens during our Missions and on the impact that they have on communities and individuals.

We may see the headline numbers of the people reached for Christ, and it is wonderful to read those, but behind those numbers are individual souls. Individual people who made the biggest decision any one can ever make during their life. They made decisions that will result in eternal life with God, in the place that Jesus spoke about in John 14:1-3

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."

Please pray for all these new believers, that they may be discipled well and that they will be truly welcomed and loved in their local churches as they grow in their knowledge of God.
