John, Hurricane Ian has made landfall on Florida’s West Coast, bringing with it life-threatening winds, storm surge and flash flooding. Save the Children’s emergency response team is preparing to help children and families affected by this disaster.
Our Children’s Emergency Fund helps us mobilize quickly to respond to hurricanes, wildfires, conflict and other emergencies, and right now, we need to raise $50,000 to support this important work: Please, will you make an emergency gift to the Children’s Emergency Fund right now to support children threatened by Hurricane Ian and other disasters?
We’re pre-positioning emergency supplies like water, hygiene kits, diapers, wipes, portable cribs and more so we can deliver them to families in need after the storm. Our team is also coordinating with national and state partners, including our local Florida education partners, to ensure that we can get vital child care and early learning centers up and running as soon as possible after the storm.
This, and everything we do, is only made possible by generous donors like you, John. So please, give a gift that is meaningful to the Children’s Emergency Fund now to help us continue providing lifesaving resources and care to the children who need them most.
Thank you for everything you do to support children, especially in moments of great need.
