Family is important to Lisa and me. It’s why when Lisa told me of her dream to be your voice in Congress, I stood by her side, and I told her I’d help her every step of the way.
It’s our love of family that drives Lisa’s dreams for each and every one of you in Delaware, too. Families, whether through blood or by choice, stand by you when the going gets tough. They help give you the resources and support you need to succeed in life.
But what we are seeing from the Republican Party today does not follow this same thought. Their actions and agenda are targeted, only helping those who offer them their loyal support, while silencing those who don’t align with their extremist views. They are leaving women in vulnerable positions with their harmful abortion laws. They are leaving children to suffer with their hurtful anti-LGBTQ+ agenda. And they are hanging our workforce out to dry with their promises to dismantle our unions.
These kinds of actions just aren't right – and it’s exactly why we need to make sure Lisa keeps her seat to be our voice in Congress to fight back against the GOP agenda.
