Hiiii,

I'm coming to you today to ask if you'll please split a donation between my campaign and Sherrod's before the FEC deadline this coming Friday at 11:59 p.m. ET to help flip PA’s U.S. Senate seat.

That said, I think we owe you an explanation. Some context, if you will.

Every quarter, campaigns like ours are legally required to report out all our latest fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission. Basically, it’s a public test of the grassroots strength of our campaign.

So, as you might expect, reporters will scour these numbers -- as will Dr. Oz and everybody on his side. Especially because this is our *last* quarterly deadline before Election Day. 

TL; DR: putting up a huge number on Friday, September 30th is a really, really big deal. So (drumroll please…) we’re setting a goal of $10 million!!!

We've got a helluva ways to go to get there, so I am humbly asking you to please split a donation between my campaign + Sherrod Brown before Friday's deadline to help reach our major end-of-quarter goal.

Look, it's not lost on me that you get a lot of requests from me + my team.

I know they can sometimes start to pile up.

But the reality is that, if we want to win the #1 Most Likely to Flip Senate Seat of 2022 on grassroots power alone, then we MUST raise as much money as possible before our *last* quarterly FEC deadline happening this Friday, September 30th.

The only way we can win is with lots of online donations -- big or small -- from people like you. So I've gotta ask: Will you split a donation of any amount between my campaign + Sherrod Brown ahead of this Friday's FEC deadline? It'd really make all the difference as we push ahead toward November.
